Notepad++ 32-bit version replaced by 64-bit version during update

I've had to disable patching of Notepad++ because it replaces my 32-bit version with the 64-bit version.  The problem with the 64-bit version is that many of the plugins I depend on, aren't compatible with the 64-bit version.

Thanks,
Glenn

We are looking into detection logic to see if we can resolve this ASAP.

Hi There,

This should have been fixed in the 3/23/17 update: https://patchmypc.net/scup-catalog-update-03-23-17.

Are you still seeing issues?

Yes.  It still uninstalls the 32-bit version and installs the 64-bit version - very annoying.  I'll keep it flagged to ignore updates for Notepad++ for now.

This is still an issue with the free updater and will be addressed in the next update.

Yes.

This issue has been fixed in Patch My PC v3.1.0.0 :)
If you have any 32-Bit app installed, Patch My PC will always update it to the latest 32-Bit :)
