Publish Software Updates Wizard requests to trust publisher and certificates

Hello.

Each time a new batch of updates is imported from the PatchMyPC SCUP catalog, those to be deployed have to be published.

The publication process is long and tedious, as many of the updates are signed with expired certificates, selfsigned certificates or new certificates each time. That results in being asked multiple times to trust the publisher, which pauses the publication until done.

Would it be possible to have all the updates delivered by the PatchMyPC SCUP catalog signed by a single certificate (i.e. a PatchMyPC certificate) that we can accept once, include in the list of trusted publishers and forget?

That would streamline a lot the process of publishing updates.

Thanks for taking this into consideration.

Best regards.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will look into this.

We helped to address this in new installations of SCUP to allow you to import all the current publishers certificates. Installers that are not code signed will still receive the prompt though.
